Deborah Lippmann Cleopatra in New York Swatch & Review

Deborah Lippmann's Cleopatra in New York was a love at first sight. It's a gorgeous black jelly with small and medium gold hexagon glitter. Formula was great, it's thin but not runny, although I did feel it sometimes has the tendency to have the glitter clump together during application. The black base is rather sheer, it took three coats for me to get a full coverage. However, it's neat to see the gold glitter through the different layers, and the dry time is fast, even without the fast drying top coat I usually wear. I'm usually reluctant to buy expensive nail polishes without seeing it in person first, but I'm glad this one turned out to be everything I've wanted.
